Clinical Supervision

Beginning your career as a therapist is exciting, but it can also feel overwhelming at times. My goal is to provide a supportive, collaborative supervision experience where you feel comfortable asking questions, exploring challenging cases, and growing into the clinician you want to become.

Supervision is more than meeting licensure requirements—it’s an opportunity to build confidence, strengthen your clinical skills, and develop your own therapeutic style in a space where you feel encouraged and supported.

During our supervision sessions, we’ll review your caseload and discuss topics such as:

  • Choosing clinical theories and treatment approaches that best fit your clients’ needs

  • Developing effective interventions and treatment strategies

  • Exploring resources that can support your clients’ progress

  • Working through difficult or complex cases when you need a fresh perspective

  • Processing ethical questions and professional challenges

  • Reviewing documentation, treatment planning, and clinical decision-making

  • Identifying continuing education (CEU) opportunities and other resources to support your professional growth

I have more than a decade of experience working with adults experiencing substance use disorders, co-occurring

disorders, depression, anxiety, mood regulation difficulties, anger management and conflict resolution concerns, trauma, and some personality disorders. My background has primarily been in individual and group therapy, and I enjoy helping new clinicians feel more confident in their clinical judgment while developing practical skills they can use every day.

Supervision is offered virtually Monday through Friday, with appointment availability varying by day to accommodate different schedules.

To participate in supervision, you must hold an LGPC license and be practicing in the state of Maryland.

I maintain documentation for every supervision session and carefully track all supervision hours, so you can feel confident that your records are accurate and organized throughout the supervision process.

Whether you’re looking for guidance with difficult cases, support in developing your clinical skills, or simply a supervisor who is approachable, encouraging, and invested in your success, I’d be honored to be part of your professional journey.
